1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
10 years already, pretty neat

2. What does your username mean?
It's an old nickname. Basically, from a character I played in a forum RPG : Sabaku no Okuni, she was a teacher (a certain rank in the rpg). After a while, even my IRL friends began to call me "Okuni Sensei". Now, even my mum calls me Okuni xD

3. Describe yourself in three words.
Lazy, colorful, friendly

4. Are you left or right handed?
Right handed, to the core xD

5. What was your first deviation?
Oula... Well, I did erase most of my oldest deviations xD

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Traditional art in watercolour pencils. They give different effect than normal colour pencils, but I use it as such.

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Digital art. Wait no, watercolour painting, I guess I won't NEVER been able to paint one day xD

8. What was your first favourite?
It was 10 year ago, I can't believe it's still here!!
I have always been a great fan of Gaara, and even if I don't read Naruto for years, he's still one of my favourite characters, all mangas considered


9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Digital art. Because most of my favourite fanarts are in this media, nothing about the type of art itself.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
That's a difficult question. I think it's monikapalosz. I'm following her since almost the beginning, while she was called Sarahaam, and I had the luxury to meet her several time when she came in France
She's impressive and she progressed so much from the time she came on DeviantArt. A true life reference x)

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I already met some people from DA, my best friends are in DA as well.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Honestly, I owe my creativity and progress in art to my friends who have always been supportive
DeviantArt has been a good tool for this.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
I have my favourite mecanical pen. It's the beginning of everything I draw, traditional or digital xD
Music is my motivation tool too

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Place, I don't think it concerns me. Feelings and musical ambiance are rather more accurate words.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
My first comments and favourites. I was so happy, I felt recognised xD
Now I'm far more reasonable and humble about it, soooo much people deserve better to be favoured than me xD

As for my own opinion :

This rather alarming. We were discussing for the fall of Deviant Art for around two years by now.
I didn't know at that time it was that serious.

But it doesn't make up for the lack of communication. The subject is too serious for being limited to the DA staff. They should have been more open about it, and far far sooner.

Hello folks, how things going?

Time for a new journal

Next month my gallery will be 10 year old. Exactly the 6th May.
So, I decided to clean up a bit my gallery, by removing my oldest work from Deviant Art.

This Page is supposed to show my work and progress, and the oldest ones have hardly this purpose now. I evolved since then, I progressed in my work, changed my fandom. Well, not all of them x3 And there's more original work nowadays.
Oh! I won't suppress everything old, there will be some decision to take about the relevance of their existence into Deviant art. It will be taken from the artistic quality, not about fandom. So, some choices will be seriously painful to take xD

For the future : even if I'm still enjoying fanarts, I still plan to make more original stuff

Salut tout le monde, comment ça va?
Le mois prochain ma galerie aura 10 ans. Exactement, le 6 mai.
J'ai donc décidé de procéder à un petit nettoyage, en retirant mes anciens travaux de Deviant Art.

Cette page est sensée présenter mon travail et ma progression, et les plus anciens on cessé de remplir cette fonction. J'ai évolué, progressé dans mon travail, changé mes fandom. Enfin, pas tous x3 Et il y a plus de travaux originaux aujourd'hui.
Oh! Je ne vais pas supprimer tout ce qui est vieux de ma galerie, il va y avoir de l'arbitrage à faire sur la pertinence de leur maintien dans Deviant Art. Ce sera basé sur la qualité graphique, et non sur le fandom. donc, il va y avoir des décisions douloureuses à prendre xD

Pour le futur : Même si j'adore toujours faire dans le fanart, je compte bien faire plus de travaux originaux

What happened in my dear country just killed me virtually. I feel empty and sad.

today I want to offer you a game

Last time I released a WIP, the Steampunk girl, I asked for help in colours.
Actually it wasn't for lack of ideas. It was a mean to make some collaborative work with the DA community.

The real "lack" here is the absence of interaction between the DA members. We tend to act like we are in tumblr, and the last innovation of DA tends to go to this way.
I don't really like it, actually.

So, I'm relaunching the game!

Aujourd'hui je veux vous proposer un jeu

La dernière fois que j'ai soumis un WIP, the Steampunk girl, j'avais demandé de l'aide pour les couleurs.
En réalité, ce n’était pas par manque d'idées. C'était un moyen de faire un travail en commun entre membres de DA.
